Also this year Gruppo Pozzi will be at the Fuorisalone; the company works in the Pinacoteca di Brera where the Iconic Re-Naissance Design is held. Gruppo Pozzi works as Co-Designer in this exhibition.
Fenix NTM®, the nanotechnological material of Arpa Industriale, reinterprets a selection of design icons. Tables, chairs, stools, lamps, games, everyday objects are revisited by the Fenix NTM®: it becomes part of them and reinvents them through an interactive and poetic interpretation.
In fact the installation creates a path where the design icons present the six values identified by Italo Calvino in “American Lessons”: lightness, quickness, exactitude, visibility, multiplicity, consistency; these are the guide values for every designer.

ArpaLab, the laboratory of ideas of Arpa Industriale is the author of this project in collaboration with Gruppo Pozzi, that is specialized in designing and creating purchasing settings and installations for events and exhibitions. They studied together the installation of the exhibition path, in order to insert it in the context of innovation and creativity that characterizes the Milano Design Week.

Iconic Re-Naissance Design is divided into three sections.
The first one is dedicated to the design icons. It presents 18 projects from the 50s to today. They are projects of the brands Arclinea, Boffi, Cappellini, Cassina, Cini & Nils, Fontana Arte, Fritz Hansen, Glas Italia, Kartell, Kristalia, LaPalma, Luceplan, Magis, Minacciolo, Moroso, Techno and Zanotta.
Every object is characterized by the Fenix NTM® and their exposure is studied so that even the shadows are emphasized. In fact, ArpaLab tells “The exposed icons are so figurative… that even their shadow is itself a design icon”.
The path continues with a playful section where there are objects that are part of the collective memory and so they’re iconic. This is the area in which a series of games are reinterpreted by Fenix NTM®: for example there is a football table and a ping pong table in parametric design.
The exhibition ends with a lab area which allows to experience the smart material and its unique properties like extremely matt surface, anti-fingerprint, soft touch and thermal healing of superficial microscratches. In this area, there is an interactive and multimedia desk designed by Gruppo Pozzi and the product novelties: eight new colors and the “empowered” version of Fenix NTM® that can communicate with smartphones.
